32 of the worst things Donald Trump has said since running for President

trump_thumbs_up_low_res

It’s no secret that Donald trump has said some pretty awful things, not only as a person but as a presidential candidate. His racist, misogynistic, sexist, homophobic and ignorant quotes can be found all over the internet, and they just keep coming. Each presidential debate and rally continues to include confusing and offensive sayings coming out of Trump’s mouth. Aren’t we lucky?

Donald Trump is a rare creature that we somehow have gotten the pleasure to witness. Saying things that blatantly offend women, minorities and immigrants (just to name a few) has somehow gotten him a presidential nomination within the Republican party. No matter how you feel about Mr. Trump, it’s hard to argue that most of his quotes aren’t at least a little bit (a lot) terrible.

About a year ago, we brought you the 32 Worst Things Donald Trump Has Ever Said, and we don’t regret it at all. While that list includes some of the absolute worst quotes from our republican presidential candidate, we found more. Honestly, it wasn’t hard to put together another list of awful things Trump has said, since it seems to have become an every day occurrence. The Donald never disappoints.

“I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart. Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

– Trump on April 18, 2016 at a rally in New York.

12rmrd

Saying something as ignorant as this about one of the most tragic days in American history is completely stupid. There are no words.

“There has to be some form of punishment…you go back to a position like they had where they would perhaps go to illegal places, but we have to ban it.”

– Trump on women who want to get abortions, MSNBC interview, March 30, 2016.

11q5gw

Whether you’re for abortion or not, we don’t really care. But this particular quote from Donald Trump proves how inconsiderate and oblivious he is to women and rights they should have. Mr. Trump, you being president is punishment enough for all of us.

“She had a pen in her hand, which Secret Service is not liking because they don’t know what it is, whether it’s a little bomb.”

–Donald Trump, on  reporter Michelle Fields, whom his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, allegedly assaulted when she tried to ask Trump a question after a rally. CNN town hall, March 29, 2016.

Jumping to conclusions about women seems to be your specialty, eh Donald?

“He referred to my hands, if they’re small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee it.”

–Donald Trump bragging about his penis size in reference to a joke by Republican rival Marco Rubio, GOP presidential debate, March 3, 2016.

2A4PVQk

So let me understand this Trump, your ego is big, but your penis is even bigger? That’s not exactly one of the issues I was hoping would be discussed at this presidential debate, but thank you. I’m glad I know.

“It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep.”

–Donald Trump on Twitter quoting fascist Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, February 28, 2016.

Trumpolini

Quoting a fascist dictator is not exactly appealing to your republican voters. Maybe avoid saying things like this, just a suggestion.

“We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.”

–Donald Trump on his turn out with poorly educated voters who helped him win the Nevada Caucus, Feb. 23, 2016.

p8kwf

Oh, the irony. A stupid candidate calling his voters stupid.

“I love the old days, you know? You know what I hate? There’s a guy totally disruptive, throwing punches, we’re not allowed punch back anymore. … I’d like to punch him in the face, I’ll tell ya.”

–Donald Trump on how he would handle a protester in Nevada, sparking a positive reaction from the audience, February 22, 2016.

10ri73

Not only does Trump encourage violence at his rallies, but it works. Gotta love a violent and offensive candidate.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s, like, incredible.”

–Donald Trump, speaking at a rally in Sioux Center, Iowa, January 23, 2016

In case you didn’t believe Trump actually said this, here’s proof. Quite dramatic word choice, I must say.

“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

–Donald Trump campaign statement

ve8xo

This quote is a prime example of Trump’s racist attitude towards Muslims. There isn’t much more to say. *eye roll*

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her, wherever.”

– Trump speaking about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly during a CNN interview on Aug. 7, 2015.

Yet another example of Trump’s misogynistic ideas toward women is presented when he said this. There is no need to comment on a woman’s… blood.

“The @WSJ Wall Street Journal loves to write badly about me. They better be careful or I will unleash big time on them. Look forward to it!”

-Trump on Twitter, October 2015.

This direct quote from Donald Trump’s Twitter account involves an immature threat towards a major newspaper publication. Nice, Trump.

“I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.”

– Trump made this statement at a rally in Birmingham, Ala., on Nov. 21, 2015.  The claim has since been proved untrue.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 11.53.55 AM

This is one of the many quotes by Trump that have proved to be false. Is he lying or just plain stupid? We might never know.

“I would bring back waterboarding and I’d bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.”

-Trump on Feb. 6, 2016.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 12.03.46 PM

If Trump will be handing out punishments like candy, my sweet tooth is gone.

“She’s playing that card like I’ve never seen anyone play it before. All I’m doing is bringing out the obvious, that without the woman card, Hillary would not even be a viable person to even run for a city council position.”

-Trump on NBC’s “Today” show on April 28, 2016.

Yet ANOTHER example of one candidate going after the other. Oh, and Trump saying terrible things about women. Pick one.

“Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!”

-Trump in a tweet hours after news broke about the mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016.

Congrats Trump, you predicted this! Thanks!

“Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?”

— Trump said of opponent Carly Fiorina in a September 2015 interview with Rolling Stone.

64453524

Have you ever looked in the mirror, Donald? I can’t imagine your face as our next president, I really can’t.

“Heidi Klum. Sadly, she’s no longer a 10.”

—Trump in a New York Times article in August 2015.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 12.36.18 PM

Since when is Trump’s opinion about Heidi Klum’s appearance relevant to this presidential election? Trump, you’re no longer a 10. You never were.

“He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

-Trump about John McCain at a Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, July 2015.

Trump1

I just have one question: What have you contributed to America thus far Mr. Trump?

“He was a bad guy — really bad guy. But you know what? He did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights. They didn’t talk. They were terrorists. Over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism,”

-Trump said of Saddam Hussein on July 5, 2016 at a campaign rally.

donald-trump-has-uncanny-instinct-to-sense-terrorism-meme

This quote shows Donald Trump praising known terrorists against the United States. Are you terrified yet?

“Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me. Her mind is shot – resign!”

-Trump’s Twitter on July 13 in response to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s comment that he was a faker.

Aw, did someone say something mean about you Donald? We’re so sorry, we’ll be your shoulder to cry on.

“That could be a Mexican plane up there — they’re getting ready to attack,”

-Trump during a speech in New Hampshire on June 30, Trump suggested that a plane overhead could be an attack from Mexico.

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 9.54.56 AM

Yet another racist quote. When will the prejudice against Mexico (and many other countries) end?

“I had some beautiful pictures taken in which I had a big smile on my face. I looked happy, I looked content, I looked like a very nice person, which in theory I am.”

— Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again, 2015

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.00.03 AM

“In theory” Donald Trump is a “very nice person”. Our presidential candidate should be a nice person, not just in theory.

“We’re totally predictable. And predictable is bad. Sitting at a meeting like this and explaining my views and if I do become president, I have these views that are down for the other side to look at, you know. I hate being so open.”

— The Washington Post, 2016

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.04.18 AM

The man who might be the next President of the United States hates being open with the American people, and admits it? We all know many politicians are crooked, but Trump admits it in this quote. Lovely.

“Bing bing, bong bong, bing bing bing”

— Trump’s “Lincoln Day” speech on political lobbying, 2015.

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.06.46 AM

I don’t really have much to say about this quote from Trump, other than this: What?

“We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country.”

—Trump at a Ft. Wayne Indiana Rally, 2016.

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.14.56 AM

Using this insensitive language in his rallies proves once again that Trump is not fit to be our president. Oh, not to mention this quote is incredibly contradictory to how and where he makes his own products.

“If and when the Vatican is attacked, the pope would only wish and have prayed that Donald Trump would have been elected president,”

-Trump responding to the Pope’s comment about him: “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian.” in February 2016.

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.24.18 AM

Feuding with the Pope is not how a presidential candidate should appeal to religious voters.

“You talk about George Bush, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time. He was president, okay? Don’t blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president, the World Trade Center came down during his reign,”

-Trump at a February 2016 Republican presidential debate.

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.29.37 AM

In this quote, Trump essentially blames former president George W. Bush for 9/11.

“I know where she went. It’s disgusting, I don’t want to talk about it No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting,”

-Trump about Hillary Clinton being a few moments late to a December 2015 televised debate because she apparently had gone to the bathroom.

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 10.57.14 AM

This quote once again displays Trump’s misogynistic ideas about women, and most clearly his opponent. Not exactly the most classy thing to continuously say women are disgusting.

“Well, I have been saying even against me the system is rigged when I ran as a, you know, for president, I mean, I could see what was going on with the system, and the system is rigged.”

-Trump in an interview with Bill O’Reilly on Fox News about racial tension, July 2016.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFk4CbI21iA

Apparently Donald Trump knows exactly how black people feel, since the “system is rigged”. Wonderful!

“They won’t refuse. They’re not going to refuse me. If I say do it, they’re going to do it.”

-Trump referring to commanding the military to commit war crimes such as water boarding and killing the families of Muslim terrorists, March 2016.

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 12.06.50 PM

Trump is basically saying here that he would demand the military to commit war crimes. The face of America’s future dictator?

“There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases. We should have a lot of systems.”

-Trump speaking about a potential database system that all Muslims must be required to sign into, November 2015.

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 12.14.01 PM

This quote may be one of the single most racist things Trump has ever said. Forcing Muslim-Americans to sign into a database? This one is awful, just awful.

“Now the poor guy, you ought to see this guy..  ‘Ah, I don’t know what I said! I don’t remember!’ ”

-Trump apparently mocking a reporter with a disability, November 2015.

We end with Trump mocking a man with a disability, one of the most terrible things anyone could do, let alone a presidential candidate. Just stop.
